You can find Walkin' On Water Surf School at Greenmount Beach which is at the southern end of the Coolangatta Beach, in the Greenmount Beach car park and right next to the Greenmount Beach Tweed Heads and Coolangatta Surf Club. You cannot miss our big red and yellow truck. We are here virtually every day of the year. Being a stones throw from Tweed Heads and in the middle of Coolangatta, we are extremely centrally located making it extremely simple to get to us by public transport or car.

Our surroundings are fantastic with Greenmount Point and its walk around to Rainbow Bay through the trees and animals on one side, the view to Surfers Paradise straight ahead and the beaches running up north on the other side. It’s not uncommon when you are learning and surfing with us to see and surf with dolphins and whale in our clear blue and green water. It’s a magic place to learn, surf and holiday.

The beaches we use for lessons are Rainbow Bay, Greenmount and Coolangatta. All three of these beaches are patrolled by lifeguards and the surf patrol lifesavers through the week and on the weekends, conditions permitting. When on patrol, the guards have the surf flags up and are on duty to monitor conditions and the safety of water users. They also have access to a First Aid room in case it is required.

When we do our Stillwater sessions, we use the Bay behind Twin Towns Services Club.

Our beaches are highly regarded as some of the safest beaches to learn to surf. Coupled with this are the picturesque views and enjoyable waves to ride and learn on making the initial learning and surfing experiences great fun and very memorable.

For experienced surfers, our position is nearly unbeatable, being at arguably one of the worlds best breaks at Snapper Rocks and now with Super Bank as well. When conditions, banks and swells are right, the Super Bank gives one of the longest waves in the world, where a surfer can take off at Snapper and ride through Rainbow Bay, Greenmount, Coolangatta through to Kirra and North Kirra, and then recover with the walk back along the beach to get back in and do it all over again.
