Just wanted to thank you for setting up our lessons with your surf school and Dan...it was so much fun...and such an awesome experience! We both wish we had started our time in Aus. with lessons as opposed to taking them on the last day before flying out. I am sitting here watching the snow fall and thinking what an amazing feeling it was to catch a wave and stand up! We bought a board and have it mounted on our wall here and every I look at it I dream about the day we visit the Gold Coast again. Dan was a super instructor, very relaxed and laid back about everything. Even though we were beginners and required a lot of help he created a very comfortable atmosphere to ask questions and offer a push as many times as we needed! Your Surf School was the highlight of our trip and we will definitely be back for more lessons someday!

Thank you for offering such an affordable and quality experience. We are hooked! Only challenge now is figuring out how to hone our newly acquired surfing skills while living on the bald prairie in Saskatchewan, Canada!
Guess we'll practise behind the boat this summer!!!

Just a quick message mate. I wanted to thank you for the excellent intro lesson I had with you on 18 December and for going out of your way to hire me a board for the next couple of days- I really appreciated that. I had only arrived in Oz on the 16th and your lesson was the first step to me becoming a total surf addict. Now I am back in Scotland again I continuing to chase that elusive perfect wave! It is a LOT colder here but that feeling of riding the surf is awesome and I can't let a small thing like the freezing cold North Sea put me off can I?!

I thought I would drop you short note of thankyou for teaching my daughter Georgia, to not only STAND on a surfboard, but also how to paddle out through the surf. For the last 2 years, I have been trying to teach my daughter to surf without much success, but in 1 day you succeeded where dad failed. Not only did she learn to surf but it also got her out of bed each morning and out into the surf and sun.

Mate the private lesson helped me to pop up on the board much easier and also helped me to identify what I was doing wrong so that I could correct it. Since the lesson I have been enjoying heaps of waves per session, and on green water!
I still make the mistake of looking down or dropping the back arm every now and then and a face plant usually wakes me up to the correct pop up technique again ! I don't have it down pat but its definitely getting there.
I enjoyed the lesson and once I've got the pop up down pat I'll be back for another private lesson to progress some more.
