With the Gold Coast having world renowned beaches and surf spots and so many of us spending so much time near the water, at the beach and in the surf, now is the time to be given the knowledge and learn those skills that will enable you, your family and your children to be a lot more confident at the beach, teach you to read the ocean and recognise risks and dangers and be equipped with skills that may help save yours or someone else’s life.

The Academy of Surf is a qualified Licensed Provider for the Australian Academy of Lifesaving – Queensland (part of Surf Life Saving Queensland)and also the National Academy for SLSA, running programs international to train international participants up to our high SLSA standards. We run a variety of accredited Awards, Certificates and qualification courses to both the general community as well as Surf Club members.

The skills and information contained in the courses are vital to anyone spending time on our beaches and in the surf. The courses are taught by qualified and experienced surfers, lifesavers and all round watermen

- Bronze Medallion

- Surf Rescue Certificate

- Surf Survival Certificate

- Senior First Aid / Operational First Aid

- CPR Resuscitation Certificate

- Advanced Resuscitation Certificate and

- Defibrillator Certificate
