The New Bennett Softpro Surf Rescue Board is the market leading Soft Surf Rescue Board. Although only extremely new onto the scene, all the feedback has been extremely positive. The Currumbin Surf Club Lifesaving Patrolling Members and Club Lifeguards that have used and trialled the board were unanimous in their support of it as being extremely comfortable to paddle, fantastic for paddling out and catching waves back in and really well shaped and designed for us to be able to perform competent successful rescues confidently on superior equipment.

The latest Robustlite Model, the Series III is designed for the intermeidate to elite paddlerand includes vent, right side recessed handgrip, vee deck at nose, front and rear straps, leg rope plug, box style carbon fin, Bennett logo printed underside, long template kneepads, vacuum bag construction for superior strength plus a degree of finish far exceeding anything else offered by our competitors!
There are two sizes available:
i). Medium - Suit up to @ 65 -75 kgs paddler
ii). Large - Suit up to @ 80 - 95 kgs paddler

There is still a very limited stock remaining of the very successful Softpro Series IV Soft Nipper boards. The boards feature a recessed stringer to aid rigidity of the board and also the surlyn slick skin bottom is 'silver', as opposed to the previous white. As was the previous model of the Softpro Series IV, ideally suited to the beginner to intermediate nipper paddler.

The Robustlite range of boards are made using a construction method previously developed for the Aerospace industry. This hi tech construction consisting of a complex blend of exotic materials, uses technology and manufacturing systems not widely accessible within Australia which gives the owner / user a much stronger, lighter product, giving improved performance to their happy owners.

Bennett Surfboards can now offer consistent increased performance achieved through perfect shape reproduction. Our “Robustlite” range of boards are born out of a pre tested race winning design, then cloning that same board again. By doing this we can furnish the paddler with a board that is truly going to perform to his / her highest expectations. A better and consistent proven shape, lighter board, more resilient to damage, with less flexing than our previous hand laminated epoxy system.

Our new range has been re-engineered and improved on previous composite technology systems to give the paddler maximum performance with minimum fuss over dents, dings and the oh so common epoxy / polystyrene delamination problem which all race board builders have encountered for many a year. To further eliminate the delamination problem we stay one step ahead of our rivals with our unique and exclusive use of Bennett “vent”. Robustlite” construction boards, although possessing superior strength and durability levels not seen before in epoxy race boards are still dingable and breakable if subjected to extreme elements of Mother Nature or a collision with rocks or another board etc.

There are 2 Models of Robustlite Nipper Boards - the Nipper Standard model or the DBTFH Nipper Racing Board.
The Standard Model is suited for small paddlers at all levels weighing up to 45 kgs. It includes vent, front and middle straps, box type carbon fin, with a level of strength and finish unmatched in Australia!
The DBTFH Model has two available sizes in Medium (suit up to 55 kgs) and Large (suit up to 70 kgs)
This design currently in huge demand and is the latest and greatest nipper design.

The Surf Rescue Board is only in a single design, full size model that includes vent, long pads, and box type fin and is Non - Vacuum bag construction. It is the standard and required yellow to be compliant with SLSA regulations with full length safety rope strapping, box style fin system, Surf Rescue Decals top and bottom and long knee pads.

These are the same specs as per Surf Rescue board except the colour scheme. They have a white base colour with red 'LIFEGUARD' signage on deck, bottom and rails

Bennett, along with the Robustlite Range, also continue to hand shape Custom boards for customers in Nipper Boards, 10'6 Racing Mals, Custom Board Rescue Competition Race Boards and Surf Recue Boards in normal specs, slightly larger more stable boards and smaller easier to handle boards.
