Stand Up Paddle Surfing

WoW are stoked to be introducing the newest sport of Stand Up Paddle Surfing into our Surf School on the Gold Coast. We will have boards for hire, offer lessons and also offer equipment sales at fantastic prices.

We have the perfect position to offer this fantastic new sport. To begin, we have the Jack Evans Boat Harbour and Tweed River to start by slowly getting into the balance, coordination and technique of the basic movements. Once these are mastered we can move to the gentle waves at Greenmount, Rainbow Bay and Coolangatta Beaches or, when the swells are bigger, use the waves in the bar of the Tweed River, just outside the Boat Harbour which can have awesome gentle fun learning waves.

We will also be offering the Ultimate Stand Up Paddle Surfing Packages complete with a Stand Up Paddle Board, a carbon fibre Paddle and an IndoBoard with both the roller and IndoFLO Cushion. This will give everyone the best set up to get into the sport and be able to practice and improve technique, balance and coordination not only out in the water or surf with the board and paddle but also to be able to work on these things on land with the IndoBoard package.

These SUP services are currently not available but we are hoping and anticipating having these Stand Up Paddle Surfing services available from September or late 2008. Please contact us for more updated avaialbility if you are interested.
