Jamo has recently taken on Head Coach at Rainbow Bay Surf Club to build and grow this fantastic Club to develop it into a force in the Gold Coast's Point Danger Branch. Jamo is qualified to coach and train a number of surf sports. At the Surf Club, he currently coaches and trains the water events mainly the board paddlers, iron persons & team events.

His qualifications for these sports include
Level 3 Rowing Australia Rowing Coach
Level 2 SLSA Surf Coach (Board)
Level 2 SLSA Surf Coach (Ski)
Level 2 SLSA Surf Coach (Boat)
Level 1 Australian Track and Field Track Coach
Level 1 SLSA Surf Coach (beach)

He was also the coach of the SLSQ Gold Coast Junior Elite Development Squad in the 2007/08 season
