Surf World Gold Coast @ Currumbin

  

Surf World Gold Coast is Queensland's only surfing museum. The exhibition includes an extensive collection of surf boards highlighting the evolution of design and technology from the early 1930s to today, amazing photography depicting early surf scenes, art work including surf movie posters and album covers, cinematography and other memorabilia. Learn about the history of Queensland surfing and beach culture and check out contemporary art works and the gallery of latest photos showcasing today's surfing champions.

  

The museum is open daily from 10am to 5pm at 35 Tomewin St, Currumbin (opposite Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary). Contact the museum on (07) 5525 6380 or visit www.surfworldgoldcoast.com Admission fees are $9 adult, $5 children/concession, $25 family (2Ad x 3Ch).

  

Schools welcome - education programs provided. A school visit can be combined with a surfing lesson provided by our fully accredited Walkin' on Water Surf School. We highly recommend adding a visit to the Surf World Gold Coast Museum onto any school excursion to the beach when surfing with us!!
