Walkin' On Water is active in supporting the local community. We are proud to support various schools and community services with donations of Prizes and Surf Lessons.

We are highly committed to putting back in to the community in many areas. We beleive this is an extremely important role of businesses in a small community and are stoked that we are able to contribute as much as we do.

We strongly urge all other local businesses to think more about contributing in some way, however big or small, to similar causes or cuases that mean something to them in the local area.

We strongly recommend that each of our Instructors are a member of a surf club on the Coast to contribute Patrol Hours on the beach each summer in helping maintain our beaches as a safe and enjoyable destination for people to enjoy.

We are also highly supportive of Clubs for various functions and events. We regularly donate financially, with product or with Gift Certificates for group, private or private group lessons or provide equipment for various Club days.

Jamo, Walkin On Water and the Academy of Surf are all very large supporters especially of Currumbin Vikings Surf Club at Currumbin Beach.

One cause that we are super stoked to be involved with is 'Granting Wishes' for those brave strong children who are battling sickness and ill health. We love being part of the Starlight Children's Foundation Grant a Wish program providing surf lessons and surf experiences to these wonderful children at our Surf School.

Another charity we are passionate about supporting is Camp Quality. We love the opportunity to provide surf experiences for those children that are living with the fight against cancer. Our last Camp Quality session we provided was all time. We had wurf professionals from all over the world helping us out, including Kelly Slater and Steph Gilmore.

We are working hard at supporting Indigenous Communities in Australia but also around the world. We have set up collections for surf clothing and equipment, school material, first aid equipment and basic supplies for areas in remote PNG. We continue to drive and push this and are stoked at the results we have been able to achieve.

We are also highly motivated to continue to work with our our AUstralian Indigenous communities and are working to get regular programs up and running.

To assist in the causes above, we are in the process of setting up a Foundation to be called 'Surfing Wantoks'. The focus of this foundation will be to continue our drive in the indigenous communities in nations around the world.

Our mission is to assist and build communities and entire nations by empowering and giving opportunities to individuals in the surf industry that has far ranging effects and benefits with the follow on effect benefitting whole communities and countries.

Once this is set up, we will be going even harder to build this Foundation into an even greater success than what we currently have - we are frothin at this!!

We are always more than happy to help out with a number of charities and community groups by donating lessons and Gift Certificates for various causes.

We have recently supported such causes as
- The Cancer Council Relay
- 'Beyond Blue' A Mens Mental Health Group
- A Charity to help money for the Royal Flying Doctors Service
- the Twins Towns Kindergarten Charity Raffle
plus many more charities and causes

Walkin' On Water was also provider of Surf Lessons to On Track Community Programs working with the Mental Health Department trying to encourage and help those in their care through weekly surfing sessions with one of our instructors.

Walkin' On Water is also a major sponsor and contributer to and works closely with the a number of local charities and organisations.
